The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) Ryan, Isserkelly, Kilchreest and formerly of Laragh, Attymon, Athenry, Co. Galway.

Passed away peacefully on the 10th of March 2025, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of Galway Hospice.

Jimmy is predeceased by his parents Matthew and Mai, his sister Marian Rooney, son-in-law Pat Walsh and niece Michelle Cahill.

Jimmy will be very sadly missed and remembered by his daughter Marion Marie Walsh, son Finbarr Ryan and daughter-in-law Debbie, son James and his partner Collette and their mother Martha. Deeply regretted by his grandchildren Paraic (Elizabeth), Jonathan (Rhona), Amy (Kevin), Jamie, great grandchildren Maisie and Ryan, his nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Quinn's Funeral Home Athenry on Thursday 13th March from 5.30pm to 7pm. Arriving to St Iomar's Church, Killimordaly on Friday 14th March for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Burial afterwards in Killimordaly Cemetery. House private. Donations if desired to Galway Hospice https://galwayhospice.ie/donate/.
