Formerly of 'The Irish House' Glenamaddy

 

Following a short illness Martin passed away, in Galway University Hospital, with his family by his side. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Phil and his first wife Clare. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Sheila, his daughters Hannah, Ruth and Beth, son-in-law Martin, grandchildren Elise and Armand, sisters Mary and Anita, brother Gearóid, sisters-in-law Louise and Dorothy, brothers-in-law Damian, Michael and Liam, nieces, nephews and colleagues at J. Grennan and Sons, Birr, Co Offally. He will be forever remembered by all those whose lives he touched and the many cherished friendships he formed that endured throughout his life.

 

A friend is the most precious gift, and Martin was a gift beyond measure.

 

Funeral Arrangements:

Sunday 11 May 2025

Martin will repose at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91 V1K8) from 4.00pm to 6.00pm.

 

Monday 12 May 2025

Removal to St Patrick's Church, Glenamaddy, (F45 A339), to arrive in advance of Requiem Mass therein at 12 noon. Following Mass Martin will be laid to rest in Glenamaddy Cemetery. Mass will be broadcast on local radio 106.6FM Live-streaming link https://funeralslive.ie/martin-garvey/
